ULTIMATE-80NC has been designed for welding of high strength grain-refined, HIC resistant steel plates & pipes, especially for sour service application. In particular it is suitable for welding of steel grades API 5L X-65 & X-70
SPECIAL PROPERTIES:
ULTIMATE-80NC meets the test requirements of:
(a) Hydrogen induced cracking test as per NACE Standard TM-0284.
(b) Sulphide stress corrosion cracking test as per NACE Standard TM-0177.
ULTIMATE-80NC weld metal is characterized by:
(a) resistance to ageing;
(b) suitability for prolonged S.R. (c) very low hydrogen content; (d) radiographic quality.
